God wants all people to be saved. When Jesus looks at people, He sees potential champions — people who need direction and love. The door of salvation is open to every person who will receive Jesus Christ as Saviour.
To come to the knowledge of the truth. The truth of God’s Word is central to everything we do. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our infallible guide in matters of conduct and doctrine.
So you may have life, and have it to the full. It is not God’s will that anything rob you of life to the full. He is a good God who wants you to be free to fulfil the assignment He has for you.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
John 10:10Our faith is grounded in the core doctrines of the Christian faith, as expressed in the following statements.
The Bible is the inspired Word of God. The New Covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, is our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21).
Our God is One, but manifested in three Persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, being co-equal (Deut. 6:4; Phil. 2:6).
Salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the Law, and is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Eph. 2:8–10).
The New Birth is necessary to all people, and when experienced, produces eternal life (John 3:3–5; 1 John 5:12).
Baptism in water is by immersion, a direct commandment of our Lord, and is for believers only — a symbol of identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection (Rom. 6:4).
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God, received subsequent to the new birth, accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues (Acts 2:1–4).
Healing is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is the privilege of every believer today (James 5:14,15).
The return of Jesus Christ is imminent. He shall return as King of kings and Lord of lords to reign with His saints (Rev. 5:10; 1 Thess. 4:16,17).
